Our first bilingual show!
John Wall reports from Chicoutimi, Quebec where he has been taking part in a French immersion course for the past five weeks. The program, based at the Universite de Quebec a Chicoutimi (UQAC) and funded through the federal-provincial “Explore” bursary, involves intensive study of both French language and Quebecois culture. He interviews the program director about the philosophy of the program, and fellow students about their experiences as they immerse themselves in a French-speaking environment.
