October 18, 2007: Waste Management & Make Poverty History

October 17th was the United Nations Day for the Eradication of Poverty. Events were held across Canada and around the world to draw attention to poverty issues and call for political actions to address them. Sarah Mohan and Brandon Bertram from the Make Poverty History campaign shared their insights with Carol about the challenges, opportunities and achievements of the poverty reduction movement.
