About SpF

Spaces, Places and Faces is a weekly show brought to you by students of the Carleton University Department of Geography and Environmental Studies. Launching on March 1st, 2007, since then we’ve aired over 200 features, all of which you can listen to right here.

We try to dig a little deeper behind stories you may not even have read or heard about in the mainstream media, examining issues of people and the environment, identity, climate change, and other topics that relate to the world as the home of humanity. We focus on events and issues from around the Carleton Campus, here in Ottawa, and regarding the world as a whole.

SPF is broadcast Thursdays from 7 until 8am on CKCU-FM, 93.1 in Ottawa, on Channel 944 on Rogers Digital Cable, and live over the Internet at www.ckcufm.com. You can download all of our feature stories from our website, through the archives, or categorized by type along the top of this page.

We welcome your feedback, so e-mail us at feedback@spacesplacesandfaces.ca with your suggestions, comments or story ideas!
